Before you can even think of publishing a book you will need to write the book. This can take a long time. You will need to make an outline, make a rough draft, and from that you will want to make a final copy. You may even find that in the process of writing your book you make several drafts. This is not uncommon among writers. After you have finished that you will want to send it to someone for a final edit. You will also want to make a cover for your book and a table of contents.
After you have totally put together a copy of your book you will want to take the book and show it to a few different companies. These companies may or may not like your book. They may reject you right away or they may take a look at your book and tell you that it needs revisions. If you are looking for them to publish your book you will need to make the revisions that they are asking for.
You may find that you don’t want to make revisions that you are completely happy with your book and want it published just the way it is. If this is the case then you will need to keep looking till you find a company that is interested in publishing your book. This could take quite a long time and could require that you send out numerous copies of your book even to companies that aren’t around your local area.

You should however continue to have faith in your book after all you wouldn’t have written it if you didn’t have something you felt would be liked by others. Whether you end up publishing the book on your own or having a company publish your book you will want to continue to be proud of your work, after all there is a lot of hard work that comes into writing and publishing a book.
