At this time I would like to express my full delight with the book signing I conducted at a Red Hat Society monthly meeting in Texas. It was a real blast! I don't think I have ever in my life worn the colors red and purple together, but after seeing these ladies flaunt their stuff in the vibrant colors, I am sure I will certainly adorn myself in them soon. It was a thrill spending the day with them. During one of our conversations, we talked about what the "red hat" symbolizes to the red hatters, their comments were an eye-opener for me. I would like to add that for me, they symbolize strength, happiness, courage and freedom from characterizations. The hope that I hold for myself, is that when I reach this "prime-time" in life, that I am as poised and together as these ladies appear to be. I was honored to be in such great company.
